WINE GUIDE
Master the art of enjoying Ukrainian Kagor with our expert guide to serving, tasting, and pairing this exceptional wine.
Remove the foil capsule, insert corkscrew at center, twist gently and pull slowly. Let the wine breathe for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Serve Kagor at 16-18°C (61-64°F). Slightly cooler than room temperature allows the complex aromas to unfold beautifully.
Perfect with dark chocolate, aged cheeses, dried fruits, and rich desserts. Also pairs excellently with Nigerian jollof rice and suya.
Look at the deep ruby color, swirl to release aromas, inhale the bouquet, take a small sip and let it coat your palate.
Store horizontally in a cool, dark place at 12-16°C. Once opened, consume within 7-10 days. Keep corked in refrigerator.
